What Causes Pale And White Labia After Hysterectomy?

I am a 60 year old woman at 29 yrs old I had a complete hysterectomy due to endometriosis. upon a vaginal exam my labia lips are totally white in color very pale and dry. I have experienced uti s and suffer from Herpes occasionally. Can you tell me what might be going on?
