What Causes Palpitations After Consuming Sugary Food?

I'm a 45 year old, female. I have Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome, and get palpitations occasionally. It seems to happen more often after I have eaten something with refined sugars in it. Is that most likely coincidence, or could there be a link (and therefore a good reason to eat a little more healthily?)

Hello

After going through your medical details, I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that it can be a coincidence or an indication towards your blood sugar levels.

It’s recommended for you to get the following tests done for proper evaluation:

1. CBC

2. Thyroid Profile

3. ECG and Echocardiography

4. F/PPBS and HbA1C

Consult with a physician with reports for further management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhanu Partap
