Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Palpitation and cough while on drugs for hypothyroidism may be side effects of the drug. Since your dose was increased from 88 mg to 112 mg, it may explain your symptoms. I will suggest you see your doctor for evaluation and if need be, a dose adjustment may be considered. Reducing your dose may help. However, you will need to watch for symptoms of hypothyroidism.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mbuomboh Veranso
