What Causes Palpitations And Drowsiness After Inhaling A Woody Scent?

I smelled a woody scented hand lotion and began to feel sleepy, then my heart started to pound. My head fell forward with my chin drooping. My friends thought I was asleep, but I could hear everything and knew what was going on around me. When they moved me from a chair to a couch, I was totally limp. I could not control any part of my body including my closed eyes and mouth. I began to shake uncontrollably. I was taken to the ER and had two CT scans and they found nothing wrong. I had an MRI with no problem except for a cyst on my sinus cavity. Do I have a fragrance sensitivity? I am so afraid to be around anyone or anything that has an odor because I might not come out of it the next time.
