Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Lately I ve been having trouble sleeping because everytime I lay down, I can feel and hear my heart pounding all through my body, and it s keeping me up at night. I have been dealing with anxiety attacks lately, I ve been to several doctors in the past few weeks and even had an EKG during a trip to the emergency room, and my heart seems okay. What should I do? I m just afraid of something going undetected. I also have palpitations/fluttering feelings sometimes, more frequently now than ever before.
Hi, I would advise you to undergo holter monitoring. It is an examination when they pur ECG electrodes on you with a little device. It records your ECG during 24 hours and it will show whether you have arrhythmia.
Wish you good health.
In case of further questions don't hesitate to ask.
