Hi, may I answer your health Poison Control queries right now ? Please type your query here...i was stung by a wasp on my finger in october 3, 09 and saw my doc 2 day later when the when the swelling wasnt going down he gave me prednizon and told me to take zertec the following that night i took the meds had no problem i felt as though toxins were running up my are and to my sholder finaly to my chest the skin itched underneath and on the 3rd day i took the meds sat at work to eat my breakfast and got dizzy and had to lay down which resulted in my boss taking me to the er my arms legs head stomach back all went numb and my eyes were buldging i couldnt even say my social my heart rate was 160 and climing fast they got me in iv'd me and hit me with adrenalin i preaty sure. go better and they sent me home 3 days later i had a grilled onion and it seemed to bit my through causing anouther attack. i have see cardiologyst and had several ekg's and an echo no one can find any thing which is good however it is feb. 2010 and i still have the palputations and feel my breathing tight and restricted. the toxins were never taken out of my body and i am wondering if they could still be circulating though causing the problem to only give me a few hours of repreve. i have gone to several websites and nothing is helping. i don't feel it is anxiety because i never had any problems before the sting i am 24 and healthy other than the current conditon. do you have and insite or know if venom could still be in my body and could a detox type system help i don't feel comfortable going on med for the rest of my life

Hi,

Any toxin that enters your body does not stay there for that long. I do not think it is because of a toxin, rather an anxiety disorder. You should see a psychiatrist.
