What Causes Palpitations In The Afternoon?

I have a normal heart beat of 60- 72 beats per minute, but I can feel my heart palpitating sometimes. This feeling is associated with what I interpret as an adrenaline push each time experience an episode. Symptoms usually appear in the afternoon and evening. Whats wrong?
