What Causes Palpitations Upon Waking Up With Chronic Fatigue?

Mom says she s woken up a few times last week with high pulse rate. She is a heart patient. She s fatigued during day. She would tell me this on a Saturday so we have to wait til Monday to call her cardiologist. What does this waking tachycardia mean???

Possibly high stress levels, sleeping on her left with some amount of pressure to the heart indicating either congestive heart failure or rhythm abnormalities. Please visit a cardiologist at your earliest convenience.
