What Causes Palpitations When Under Stress?

I am having severe palpitations at different time intervals. I got medication for stress but doesn t seem to be of much effect. Then I took a pressure tablet Got ease for 4 hours and went back to square one. I am not worrying at all. The nurse took my pressure today and to my surprise it was 144/86

Consult a physician and get evaluated.

You might require drugs like propranolol for symptomatic relief. An ECG is also recommended to rule out possible cardiac arrhythmia.
