What Causes Palpitations While On Bupropion HCL?

I have been placed on bupropion hcl and I have noticed I can feel my heart beat through my chest. My bp is normally 120/72 but it has been in the 140 / 85 range last week then today it s 151/98 pulse 102. I called my doctor last week and they never called me back and I don t know what else to do. Should I be concerned.

The palpitations are the well known side effect of Bupropion and it is expected that this will decrease over time. In case this troubles you lot, it is always advisable to see a doctor without delay.
