What Causes Palpitations While On Haldol?
I am taking hadol since January .I had a psycotic breakdown, but since taking this medication I have hard time sleeping and experience severe heart pounding .Also I feel out of body experiences while walking or driving.I have told my councelor about this .

I have read and understood your concern.
Haldol is a very good antipsychotic drug.However, it has a number of side effects.Among these side effects are loss of balance control, restlessness, dizziness, palpitation, irregular pulse and many other syymptoms.I feel your symptoms are side effects of haldol.I will advise you continue with the drug as prescribed, then see your Doctor for dose adjustment if need be or any other antipsychotic that may not have such side effects.
