What Causes Palpitations While On Blood Pressure Medication?

I started on blood pressure medication a couple of weeks ago. I have noticed that I feel ok during the day and when I go to bed but when I wake up in the morning I have been feeling a little off like heart is racing anxouse, weird and have now been having some problems getting to sleep. ???

it depends onwhatmedicine you are taking . tenelol can cause bradichardia. so consult your treating doctor for checkup and advise on medication.hypertention it self can cause tache cardia.
