What Causes Palpitations While Sleeping?

When I go to bed my heart will beat fine and then it will beat one time hard and then beat fine for a few minutes and then hard again. It does this for 10 minutes or so and then will be fine. I get cold fingers and toes a lot and someone said I had a blue nose. Wonder if I have poor blood flow.

Hello,

In my opinion, you should definitely consult a cardiologist and get done ECG, 2D Echo, stress test and Holter monitoring (24 hours continuous recording of ECG). If all these are normal, then no need to worry about heart diseases. Sometimes undiagnosed stress and anxiety can also cause similar symptoms.
