What Causes Palpitations While Suffering From Hyperthyroidism?

Hi, my name is Lena, I was once diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, I no longer with this condition, I still have heart palpations, sluggish, weight gain even though I am dieting and exercising. Body aches and joint pains. Can yo tell me if I need medication?

Hi,

The way you present symptoms except weight gain are all related to hyperthyroidism. However, to confirm it needs investigations to estimate TSH, T3, T4 levels in the blood. I suggest you report to the emergency room for consultation and accordingly you would be treated.
