What Causes Palpitations?
I am 52 and today for the first time and right now my heart beat is not right its beating to hard its calm at this moment but when I get up to walk to another room it starts pounding and then I get hot its making me feel worn out, I dont like this feeling what should I do

Thanks for posting your query. Irregular heart beatalso called palpitations are caused due to some organic condition of the heart or it may be associated with hormonal disorder like thyrotoxicosis.
As you have not mentioned about your blood pressure, you need to consult physician and check out your blood pressure.
Also do an ECG, 2D. Echo and stress test to rule out serious cardiac condition.
