Hi,

Without an exam, I can only give general information. Lisinopril should not be the most commonly used anti-hypertensive. Only about a sixth of it actually gets in. The amount that gets in can vary over 50% day to day in a person and bumps in BP often cause symptoms. It is notorious for this. Metoprolol gives a nasty withdrawal if you skip it. Occasionally its level in the body bounces around during the day enough to give withdrawal or paradoxical panic attack. Yeah, the metoprolol dose if it is small like 25 mg would be a strong possibility in general. AND one shouldn't have a high heart rate on it. It's quite odd for a 30 yr old to have accelerated BP so... adrenal tumor or other odd reason for BP is probably the most likely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
