What Causes Particles In Urine During Pregnancy?

I am 21 weeks pregnant, this is my first pregnancy and it has been normal. Upon urination this morning I noticed something floating in my urine (what I noticed was similar in appearance to something that I had seen floating in spoiled apple juice once). Do you have an idea of what this is, and should I be concerned?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion it might indicate protein in urine.But it cab be confirmed by complete urine examination to exclude any infection or proteins.UTI are routinely seen in.pregnancy especially 2 nd trimester.So I suggest you to rule out that.And drink fluids upto 3 litres daily,coconut water and cranberry juice to prevent UTI.
