What Causes Passage Of White Tissue In Menstrual Flow?

hi i had a baby 9 weeks ago. i am currently having my 2nd period since her birth. I began taking the pill last month. During my period this week i have been noticing large blood clots which also contain like a whitish clot type thing. what could this be?
