General & Family Physician 's  Response
hi
thank you for asking your concern and welcome to HCM. i would like to ask whether baby is active, alert, feeding well, good weight, sleeping well if yes then there is no need to worry. cream in stool may happen in viral stool also to which no treatment is needed. until and unless there is blood in stool no need to give any antibiotic also. you can give one tablet of albendazole now and half tablet after one week for worm infestation. keep feeding well, let him drink well. unless there is change in feeding pattern of baby do not worry. if this continues more than 2 weeks you need to consult your doctor for amoebic dysentery or lactose intolerance. stool microscopy will be useful then.
if you feel any doubt
please ask us
regards
dr. Abhijit
