What Causes Passing Of Pale Stool While On Ibuprofen?

My stool has been lighter than normal for two days, once a day. Like a tan color. Is two days of this very serious? It s the first time it s ever happened. No other symptoms. I am 57 with no health problems. I am currently taking a mega vitamin for hair, skin and nails, and was taking ibuprofen for the last few dais for wrist pain. Thank you.

Pale colored stools for only 2 episodes doesn't seem to be a concern of medical attention. It isn't actually related to Ibuprofen which is used for such a short time period. Multivitamins also don't pose this problem.


So don't worry for this problem. But keep an eye on this issue. We can't just let it go. You have to follow-up if it persists, otherwise it is ok.

But I want to add here that Clay colored stools may be due to liver, gallbadder and bile issues. If the problem persists or you feel pain in right side of abdomen, itching on the body or jaundice etc etc consult back for assistance and I will be there for help.
