What Causes Patch Spreading All Over Rite Hand?

i have a patch spreading all over my rite hand..local docters told me that its a mole spreading over right part of body,it grws day by day until certain age and is not that dangerous..... can u pls suggest me abt that kind of moles.. im quite worried abt its spread over face..thanking u in anticipation
