What Causes Patches In The Skin Which Is Spreading?

Red patches on back. Comes back frequently. One large patch and two small ones. now is spreading to several small spots around back. Was told by a skin Doctor 2-3 years ago that I had scratched the large patch creating hot spot. I was ok with that until today when I saw it was spreading.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Red scratch that's spreading along the back plus small spots division may be indicative of some infection. Ootherwise if it's petechiae then it couldn't be divided into small spots.

So I think again show your condition to skin specialist because spreading to small spots is something which needs to be diagnosed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
