Hey there,So, over the last 2-3 week Ive developed patchy skin on the head of my penis, as well as very very small lesions just beneath the head.Around the time they appeared my home also was also infected with lice, so Id been getting bug bites around my legs. The lice have been exterminated this week,But im still concerned it could be something else,My own search for the cause brings syphilis as a primary suspect, but this is the only symptom that appears and only loosely resembles how its suppose to manifest itself.Help?Thanks.
Patchy skin ulceration (white or red) on the glans or the shaft of the penis may be a sign of syphilis. Left untreated it can become itchy or painful. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP.
Get all the STD tests done. If you get a positive report you will be treated with antibiotic(penicillin) / antivirals. Avoid multiple partners & practice safe sex. After you are treated & you have unprotected sex with anyone who has syphilis you may be reinfected.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
