What Causes Peeling Of The Skin On The Buttocks?

hi...i am 50 years old n diabetic..the skin on my butt is peeling away ...like it is a dead skin..i dont wear any tight cloth and i dont deal with dust or anything that can cause any kind of infection ..is it something related to my diabeties...i feel extremely embarrased to go to a doctor and tell her about it.

After going through your query I can say mostly it's related to diabetes. In a diabetes patient, some kind of skin infection occurs frequently.

That cause peeling off the skin. don't worry. control your diabetes and have some antibiotics plus antifungal drugs. Also, wear cotton cloth and avoid wetting of the area.
