Hi,
I AM A 42 Yr old, mom of three, all c-sections. I have had laproscopic surgery to eliminate ovarian (fluid) filled cysts. 2 month ago, had a Leep procedure done, which turned out fine. Was hospitalized for over 10 days at NWestern in Chicago, plueral effusion, elevated liver enzymes, hives. Never had a diagnosis, the checked and tested my entire upper abdomen....all ok. History of HPV, auto immune disease Lichen Planus.
Fast forward, Started menapause a 39, Last 6 months, constant left pelvic pain (oh yea, right ovary and tube removed for endometriosis 5 years ago) Severe Hip pain, Bad Fatigue, Leg pain, Sciatic, crampy lower back, Heavy acheing chest every day, Very bloated waistline, diarehea, constipation, weight gain, feel full after a few bites of my meal, painful intercourse, and just a general feeling of sickness. this last week developed a cough, sore throat, and sinusitis.
Gyne, gave me CA125, normal, couldn't see left
ovary on Ultra sound, and stated he couldn't see any fluid. Unknown family history on paternal side. I am now scheduled to have a complete
hysterectomy....in 3 weeks. My symptoms are worsening by the day and Dr. Can't get me into surgury until June 17.
Thoughts? If is turns out to be ovarian cancer, is another 3 weeks detrimental? Should I consult with a gyne. Oncologist too? I know 2 opinions are better than 1, but my gyne assured me he doesn't think it is ovarian cancer.
