Hi, I have been on spirolactone once a day for about two months now and I have a yeast infection that will not go away, I am thinking that my yeast infection is related to that. I had antibiotics twice before that and got a yeast infection twice, took Monistat so many times, then took a gel my doctor prescribed, ( my doctor said I became immune to the Monistat and I am allergic to diflucan.) Anyway, after taking probiotics daily, no sexual activity, and no antibiotics, and diet changes with little to no bread or sugar, it WILL NOT go away. I m so over it, I have been tested for bladder infections and STDs and I am clear, but I m also having pelvic pain, uncomfortable irination. Please help, I swear it s the spirolactone. The spirolactone has been helping my acne, but ever since I started it my yeast infection won t quit.
