What Causes Penis And Testicle Shrinkage Post A Hernia Surgery?
For the longest time now, my genitals, penis included, hug up close to my body unless I m relaxed on the couch or in the tub. Embarrassing, sometimes uncomfortable. I was normal and unashamed in high school. Had hernia surgery when I was 19. Seems like it started shortly afterword. Brought it up years ago to a doctor and he checked for another hernia and didn t have anything to say. I don t know if this is common at all, or due to bad blood flow or what, Haven t talked to my family doctor about it. Embarrassed to whip it out . But have been dealing w/ for a long time. Any information or recommendations are greatly appreciated.

* As per my surgical experience, there are not cases reported with penis shrinkage after hernia surgery.
However, in rarest issues, there may be hampering of the blood supply via accidental blood vessel ligation.
* But any compromised blood supply will present immediately after the surgery within next 24 hours, not beyond that period over a long time.
* However, a doppler ultrasound of the groin and scrotum is best recommended at this stage to avoid any underlying dilemma.
