What Causes Period Blood Discoloration?

hi, my name is samantha. i am 18 years old, puertorican. i am completely healthy, and take no medication. but today i got my period and the shade is different from my other periods. my blood is a bright red orange color.. what causes this orange blood? is there something wrong with me?
