What Causes Period Like Cramping And Bleeding After Having Full Hysterectomy?

Hi, I had a full hysterectomy 2 years ago. Today I felt a period cramp like and a little bleeding (small amount blood discharge). Is it normal? I did the full hysterectomy just as cancer prevention as I had triple negative breast cancer 2 years ago. Thanks, Rosana

Hi Rosana,
Thanks for consulting us.
No, you can't take it as normal. Please report this to your operating Gynecologist. This may be a vaginal vault problem like granulation. Your doctor will examine you & may treat this on the spot or may take a biopsy if diagnosis is in doubt.
Wish you good health.
Take care.
