What Causes Period To Stop And Again Restart While Taking Throxine?
Dear Dr.,
I had total thyroidectomy last Sept 2010, and since then I've been taking thyroxine 125mg every morning before breakfast. My menstrual period is regular, this month my period stopped last week (normally it lasts 5 days) but then after 2 days i have period again and and the amount of blood is almost the same as my first fews days of menstruation. I'm going to see a gyneacologist within this week but your help will be very much appreciated. Note: I'm definitely not pregnant.
