What Causes Persistent Abdominal Bloating Along With Diarrhea?

Hi, I’m lactose intolerant. I don’t have lactose, but I’m still in pain. I am bloated every day, do about 4 diarreahs a day, gaining weight and feeling yuck. This is despite going to gym 1-2 times a week, playing tennis and walking daily. What should I do? I’m over being on the toilet and in pain?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
there is currently no way to boost your body's production of lactase, but you can usually avoid the discomfort of lactose intolerance by:

Avoiding large servings of milk and other dairy products
Including small servings of dairy products in your regular meals
Eating and drinking lactose-reduced ice cream and milk
Drinking regular milk after you add a liquid or powder to it to break down the lactose.

Probiotics are living organisms present in your intestines that help maintain a healthy digestive system.

acidity problems also can cause bloating sensation.

you may take ulcer medication .

loperamide will be useful to control your diarrhoea.

take plenty of oral fluids .

zinc tablets reduce diarrhoea episodes.

avoid spicy foods.
