General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

This sounds like inherent issues with enzyme status of the intestine along with bile metabolism due to chronic hepatitis infection, in which case all the evaluation parameters turn out to be normal in almost all cases.

Supportive care with diet management, plenty of liquids, digestive enzymes, gut prokinetics are the best tools for a good recovery.

Avoidance of smoking and alcohol are must here.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
