What Causes Persistent Abdominal Pain And Blood In Urine?

Went to urgent care cause I thought I had a urinary tract infection, trace blood found no infection. Doctor sent me for CT of Abs. Found I have SMAS, sent to gastro doctor, scheduled me in April for endoscopy to check SMAS he said no relation to ab pain. Sent to primary Doctot. Cause of history with rumors on the bladder and overiy, benign all 4. I m 48 had hysterectomy in 2005 , 1 overiy both both Fallopian tubes removed with tumors in 2012. Almost same symptoms as no. Primary doctor is sending me to a urologist this fri. It s the PDA. My question is I m in pain. My pain management doctor doubled my dose from 15 to 30 mg oxycodone HCL 4xday my OxyContin 10 to20 mg CR. is there a way for the Drs to hurry up and get me out of pain b4 it becomes unbearable, serious, or the pain medications make it worse. P.S. The symptoms and pain are getting worse

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of persistent abdominal pain and blood in urine . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like constipation , infection of the urinary tract, crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis , irritable bowel syndrome or due to improper digestion of food. For now eat light and no spicy , drink plenty of water , take some probiotic food like yogurt or add more fruits and vegetables to your diet. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may order ultrasound , CT scan , stool test and endoscopy. Doctor may prescribe omeprazole , ornidazole , laxative along with analgesic. Doctor may also refer you to urologist for UTI .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
