Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of persistent acid reflux despite taking medication which seems to be due to release of esophageal sphincters . Well acid reflux problem needs to change life style of person along with medicine for proper treatment. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may order endoscopy of esophagus and X-ray of upper digestive system to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe H2 blocker , proton pump inhibitor and loperamide for loose motions. For now your should avoid heavy and spicy meal specially at night , Eat at least one hour before going to bed , take a light walk after every meal , eat small and frequent meals and take antacid like gelusil for acidity.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
