Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Persistent And Heavy Vaginal Bleeding After Having Hysteroscopy?
Hello, I had a hysterscopy done a few weeks ago. After the procedure, I had very little light bleeding for a week. All my results were clear (had a poly removed). After a week I started average bleeding thinking it must be my period. Went on for 14 days. As I was going on holiday took pills to stop bleeding. As soon as I stopped the pills last Friday I m now bleeding quite heavy. I also have the period pain. I m so frustrated! I will book an appointment with my gyno but wanted to ask is this normal? Thx.
I think you should get tested by a gynaecologist because this bleeding 14 days after period is not much normal. It may be related to the procedure you had.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
