What Causes Persistent Bleeding In Testicles And Swelling In Legs?
My husband has been bleeding from his testicles for over 3 weeks. In the beginning, it wasn t everyday. However, for the last couple of weeks, it has been everyday. I m not talking about a little blood but now it s LOTS of blood everyday. When I first noticed the bleeding and asked him about it, he said it was from hemorrhoids. As it got heavier, he said he had a bump on his testicles. After it was SO heavy today, he finally let me check it out. There are no bumps or pimples. I only saw blood oozing from a tiny hole. During the last couple of weeks, his legs and feet have swollen terribly. Could that be related to the bleeding?
Well, there are several possible causes. This may be a beginning of leg cellulitis which is inflammation of subcutaneous tissues and may develop into diabetic foot or even diabetic gangrene so any swelling, redness or pain in legs in someone who has diabetes should be evaluated by medical professionals since antibiotics may have to be started as soon as possible to prevent spreading of infection.
He should do at least basic blood tests and blood sugar to see if there is a significant infection or not. Other causes include deep vein thrombosis or lymphedema and these should be checked with an ultrasound exam.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
