General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I understand your concern with the risk of having HIV. On the other hand, if you have had two tests for HIV in a 6 month period from one another and they both came out negative, then you do not have HIV.
There other possible causes that may cause weight loss in a patient and your doctors will have to do a thorough general examination and also possibly some blood tests and other examinations according to your weight and gender to determine the cause of your weight loss.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
