What Causes Persistent Blurry Vision With Extreme Pain In The Temples?

I have been experiencing blurred vision in both eyes for about a month. I thought it might be medication related, but all of the medications I have are either ones that I have taken before or medications that I have had long term. My right temple often feels like I am being hit with a hammer. No sinus issues, just pain in my head. I have trigeminal neuralgia and had cyber knife surgery in April of this year and it had been effective up till now. I have been experiencing some of those symptoms in the last week. My first two Microvascular Decompression surgeries were only effective for 3 months. Please help!

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

We have to rule out possible causes like vasculitis. Consult an ophthalmologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
