What Causes Persistent Breast Tenderness And Clear Discharge From Right Breast?
I m an having breast tenderness in the left breast in same area...if been about 3 weeks now....and not getting better. Today I notice milky discharge when I was feeling around... Very small amount. So of coarse I squeezed the other nipple and I got a clear discharge from my right breast although my right breast doesn t hurt
I can understand your concern. Any discharge from breast in absence of pregnancy, breastfeeding or mechanical stimulation is considered abnormal.
I would advise you not to try to squeeze your breast and induce discharge. Even in absence of such stimulation by you, discharge occurs, then you should visit a physician or gynecologist for physical examination and further investigations. The possibilities of such discharge usually includes hormonal imbalance or infection of the mammary glands.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
