What Causes Persistent Bruise Above Navel?
Over a week ago, a bruise appeared about 3 inches above my belly button. I do not recall an injury nor did I wear clothing that has a clasp that would cause the bruise. What worries me is that it is not going away, infact it may even be growing. What could be causing this?

It's difficult to diagnose without examining, as you are saying bruise is above navel and if it's of bluish to reddish in colour then it could be a hematoma due to minor injury or compression which you might have not noticed.it may resolve slowly. If it increases or painful then I advise you to consult a doctor for proper diagnosis.
