What Causes Persistent Burning Sensation In The Right Buttock?

Hi, I have a burning sensation in my right buttock. It started up intermitten, but now seems to be more frequent throughout the day. It isn t painful just a bit uncomfortable and annoying. Also, recently an eye doctor appointment disclosed that I have swollen optic nerves. Could these 2 things be related?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It is due to neuropathic causes. As of now you can take drugs like vitamin B12 for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
