What Causes Persistent Chest Pain And Tumour On The Spinal Cord?

I have been having what I thought is chest pain for several weeks now. Two weeks ago, I went to my primary who said it was a chest muscle pull. They did a chest, ekg, and blood work to rule out anything else. Yesterday i went to the e.r. because it was hurting so much. They also did an ekg, chest, lots of blood work, and a breatheing treatment. He was very thorough and everything looked ok. I should feel relieved but I am still in a lot of pain. He sent me home on steroids for 4 days in case I have some inflammation. I am now thinking it is my esophagus. I am scared as I am a post Whipple surgery patient (8/2012) and the road has been tough. The road back from that has been and still is tough. The tumor was my foruth one. I have a tumor on my spinal cord at C2 that gives me lots of neuro issues, and I have 2 brain tumors that have been shrunk to almost non existent. I am so healthy other than my body produces tumors. They are always benign, but cause lots of damage just the same due to the locations. I am sorry for being so wordy. I am so scared of getting stomach Cancer. My paternal grandfather died of it, my dad had numerous stomach problems. And me.... well the whipple took some of it away and left the rest of it a mess. Erosive and already perforated once, a real emergency. My g.i. doctor is so compassionate and quite educated about the whipple but I have no insurance right now. It ran out in December and I go on Medicare on 4/1/16. Of course i couldn t just stay healthy until then. I don t want to keep running for tests because I have to pay for it all outright. My question, finally, to you is Would I know if I had throat Cancer? Would the symptoms be vague or would I know.
