Hi,

Most likely this is caused by esophagitis. For such cases I used to give Pantoprazole 40 mg once daily and antacids like gelusil 3 times a day for 7 days. Your doctor will guide you. Meanwhile avoid hot drinks and spicy items for 2 weeks.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam TK
