For a week, my chest has been non-stop spasming. It feels like a vibration all over my chest--almost like a phone is vibrating. I ve been to the doctor twice. I got an EKG and a chest X-Ray and nothing has shown up. The doctors keep telling me it s just muscle spasms, but its been a week now and it is debilitating. The doctor gave me Naproxen and it is not helping at all. It seems to be better when I am lying down under a blanket and worse with any movement in my arms.
Hi. thank you for the query. With this presentation, I think an electrolyte imbalance especially calcium deficiency needs to be ruled out. To do this, you need to do serum electrolyte panel. In my opinion, I would suggest you go in for this test. Hypocalcemia could be the cause of this.
I hope that helps I wish you well
