Understanding your concern. As per your query you have chronic cough with ticklish feeling in throat is which due to inflammation and blockage of sinuses leading to upper respiratory tract infection. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and go for sinus endoscopy for visualization of sinuses. Take mucolytic agent or decongestants. You should get ECG done to monitor cardiac functioning. Avoid hot, sharp , spicy food substances and carbonated beverages. You should take steam inhalation as well. Do chlorhexidine mouth-rinse as well. You should go for CT sinuses. you should get culture of sinuses done and sensitivity from sinus fluids can help in correct diagnosis.
