What Causes Persistent Cold And Flu Symptoms Despite Taking Z Pack?
I just took my sons temp and it is running at 96.6 degrees. He is displaying cold/flu like symptoms...he was treated w/ a z pack a few days ago though he tested negative for strep throat. He sound worse today than he did when we saw the dr a few days ago! Advice?

If fever and flu symptoms are persistent, kindly take him back to doctor. Still, this can be viral, but we need reassessment for any need of a different antibiotic treatment
