Hi,
Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
In later weeks of
pregnancy there is a constant pressure in pelvis, as the baby tries to descend down in pelvis because of it's own weight & uterine changes for facilitating child birth. So normally there are intermittent uterine contractions & pain in lower abdomen.Nifedepine is a drug to control
high blood pressure, it does not have any effect on uterine contractions. Duvadelan pill is usually is given for problem like your's. You can take it with your doctor's advise.
I feel you are mistaking it for constant contraction.
These days a few life style changes ease the would be mother. They are-eating repeated small servings of food/ plenty of water & sufficient fibers along with mild exercises ( walking/
yoga )result in regular evacuation of bowels & ease the stretched abdominal muscles./ sound sleep for 8 hours &
stress less mind with positive thinking increase power of sustaining pain.
When there is no dilatation of
uterus &
amniotic fluid is normal with good fetal movements &
heart sounds.. you should relax , stay cool. .. to wait for few more weeks & get child birth after that.
Thanks
