What Causes Persistent Cough Along With Low Grade Fever?

Have had a persistent cough and mild temperature, 99.6-100.6 for 4 days. I have also noticed my ankle and wrist were itchy and red. And I am tired and seem thirsty a lot. I assumed this would go away in a couple days, but it hangs on and my temperature goes up a little. Do you have any thoughts on what this might be?

It is due to some sort of chest infection for which you can take some antibiotic like Azithral or Moxikind-cv after an expert opinion along with diominic-dca or anti-cold for fever, cold and chest discomfort. For cough you can take syrup asthakind or bro-zedex. Do warm water gargles and take steam inhalation.
