Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on HCM.
I Can understand your situation and problem.
In my opinion you should consult pulmonologist and get done
1. PFT (pulmonary function test).
2. Ultrasound examination of chest.
PFT is needed for the diagnosis of asthma. It will also tell you about severity of the asthma. And treatment is based on severity only.
So PFT is must for you.
Chest x ray is contraindicated in pregnancy. So better to get done ultrasound examination as it is safe in pregnancy and can diagnose pneumonia and pleural effusion.
Ventorlin is having levosalbutamol. It is short acting beta 2 agonist (SABA) and action lasts for only 2-3 hours. So better to start long acting beta 2 agonist (LABA) as its effect lasts for 10-12 hours.
So consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
