What Causes Persistent Diarrhea While On Atorvastatin?
I am taking Atorvastatin 40 mg at night about 8:00. I have been having diarhrea and loose stools for the past few weeks. I feel perfectly fine all day but have this bowel movement with loose stools and/or diarhea at about 4:30 to 5:00 am daily. Would it hurt to stop for a day or two to see if this is the problem. I have lactose and glutten allergies which developed within the last few years. My doctor is stumped. She thought it might be to the Mettformam but I am taking but I take that twice a day.
